We are highlighting a sampling of recent stories as well as focusing on upcoming events from some area ministries. 1. Refuge Worship - Friday, August 1st 7pm @ Encounter Christian Fellowship (705 Hamilton St. Syracuse) - A contemplative worship to prepare our hearts for service. Let your spirit connect and be lifted.
2. Hand-to-Hand Mission - North - Casa de Paz, (907 Butternut St. Syracuse), Saturday, August 2nd from 10am-1PM. Blessing bag handout, conversation, prayer and other services.
3. Hand-to-Hand North Home Deliveries - Casa de Paz, (907 Butternut St. Syracuse), Saturday, August 2nd from 10am-1PM. Work with teams to deliver needed items to refugee families. A great mission to meet new friends of a different culture.
4. Hand-to-Hand Mission - South - The Connected Church, (107 E. Beard Street, Syracuse), will take place on Saturday, August 2nd from 10:00am-1pm. Pop-Up market and other services.
5. VBS at Brown Memorial - Brown Memorial UMC (225 Davis Street, Syracuse), Saturday, August 2nd, 12-4PM. Be part of an afternoon VBS with a great theme that will introduce or reinforce the importance of Jesus to children 5 years old to 6th grade.
6. A Benefit Concert with Andrez Babii - The Palace Theater (2384 James St, Syracuse) Saturday, August 2nd @ 6PM. A great night of worship to benefit a family faced with medical bills for their 1 year old son.

Syracuse For Jesus
Multiple ministries and churches are planning a missions trip right here in Syracuse.
Starting August 1st to the 9th, 2025, multiple street teams and volunteers will be going out to the streets of Syracuse to share the gospel and pray with the community. We will be serving, feeding, praying and being the hands and feet of Jesus.
We invite you to join with us and be the Church united. We are calling every local church, ministry, house church, college and high school bible club - to unite as one body and bring the gospel to the surrounding area.
Below are the current churches and ministries uniting together and answering the call. We need the Body of Christ to go and make disciples, prayer partners and volunteers to share the Love of Christ as one. "We have exciting news! This year we will be having Faith Day on Sunday July 13. We will be having a church service before the game with some of our local pastors speaking. With your purchase of a ticket, gates open at 10:00, the service begins at 10:30. We will then have live worship music at noon and fist pitch is 1:05. "What a privilege it was...to share the good news of Jesus at Innovative Stadium for the Rochester Redwings and to NBT Bank Stadium for the Syracuse Mets. Testimonies, music, sponsor tables and flyers, exchanges with Christian friends from various backgrounds and baseball fans who were curious about why we were there…
At two of our tables, we handed out tiny plastic Jesus figures with the tag line “Everyone needs a little ‘Jesus’ in their life.” We gave away hundreds!

Adult and Teen Challenge
"This past Saturday (June 28) marked the Grand Opening of the Women’s Home on Collamer Rd in East Syracuse! This project has been in development for quite some time, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this day a reality.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of both the Women’s and Men’s Homes, whose hard work and dedication transformed not just the property, but the entire atmosphere, making it truly feel like home.
We also appreciate the unwavering support of those who have prayed for this milestone and generously given their time and financial support.
Thank you as well to the residents from Syracuse Adult & Teen Challenge, as well as those from Buffalo Adult & Teen Challenge and Rochester Adult & Teen Challenge, whose willingness to help wherever needed was essential in preparing the home for its new residents.
Above all, we give all the Glory and Praise to the Lord for making this possible!
