Mission Syracuse

Meeting with Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Nov. 10

Over 200 church and ministry leaders gathered November 10 at the Metropolitan Room at NBT Bank Stadium in Syracuse for a catered meeting with Steve Rhoades, vice president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). The topic of discussion was a possible three day festival in Syracuse featuring Franklin or Will Graham, with talk of it being at the JMA Wireless Dome or another local venue in 2027. Joe Bolognone of Mission Syracuse, in an inquiry to the organization a number of weeks ago, sought after BGEA for discussions of a possible event in Syracuse.

Life Matters Training Center

November Prayer and Worship Rally

Life Matters Training Center out of Canastota New York was in Syracuse for a pro-life prayer and worship rally outside of Planned Parenthood on Nov. 1. The event also featured several speakers, including Ministry Founder Julie Rosati, and Director of Program Development and Expansion Joanna Myers. John Watkins of the local Rev7 Ministries led the worship.

This ministry serves the unborn and their families outside of abortion facilities located in many cities across New York State. Members of the ministry also travel out of state as well. Per the ministry: “We pray and lovingly call out to moms and dads, offering them help and resources in the last moments before their final decision. Our heart is to see more churches and individuals involved in this ministry.”

"What a wonderful Holiday House!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the start of the Christmas season with us at Faith Heritage School’s Holiday House!

We’re so grateful for our amazing volunteers who made the day run smoothly, our vendors and food trucks who filled the activity center and parking lot with festive treats and gifts, and the many families and friends who joined in the fun.

From the silent auction and bounce house to student performances, it was a joyful day filled with community, laughter, and Christmas spirit."
